A large service provider to the oil & gas industry needed to avoid potential lockout/tagout incidents and negative environmental impact that could be caused by leakage of hydraulic fluids.
SOLUTION:
VEP SERIES THREADED FLAT FACE COUPLING
The VEP series threaded flat face coupling provided a leak-free, safe, connect-under-pressure solution. The patented internal valve allows connection and disconnection with high residual pressure and the flat face design avoids loss of hydraulic fluid.
RESULTS:
ELIMINATED LEAKS AND WORKPLACE INJURIES
The connection solution eliminated reportable workplace incidents & injuries in their hydraulic line connection/disconnection process and achieved zero leakage/environmental impact.
